What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name (via Clerk). When you use Artifact, we store the projects, sources, facts, and outputs you create.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Artifact service
• To process your subscription and billing
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• To respond to support requests

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data
• We do not use your content to train AI models
• We do not share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (hosting, payment processing)

Data storage

Your data is stored on servers within the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Your rights

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

• Clerk — authentication
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing
• PostHog — product analytics (privacy-friendly, self-hostable)
• Sentry — error tracking
